Crisis Line Protocols

24-HOUR CRISIS LINE: 866.897.4747
Crisis line is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If our Crisis Operator is engaged with another call, you may leave a message requesting a callback to ensure it’s safe. Note: For security reasons, the returning call will display a different number.

Upon answering, we greet you with a simple “hello” to protect your privacy and safety. Our operators will not identify the call from the Family Violence Crisis Line. If inquired, they will respond with “May I help you?” to prevent abusers from recognizing the call, ensuring your safety.

If speaking out loud poses a risk, text us instead. For your safety, we will only reply to your texts if you confirm it’s safe for us to do so.

Protective Orders

We assist with District Court and Osage Nation Trial Court Protective Order Petitions. All Osage County orders are initially processed through the Osage Nation Family Violence Prevention Department, except for self-filed ones. Our staff aids in petition preparation, filing, amendments, and hearing support.

For non-family violence or intimate partner violence cases, please review the new Oklahoma statutes here to understand police report requirements. Contact our office for eligibility queries without a police report.

Shelter Services

Our 24/7 shelter welcomes all qualifying survivors and their minor children. It offers a communal living environment, daily activities, case management, mental health referrals, parenting classes, and more, fostering independence and empowerment.
