Osage Nation Health System Successfully Completes Single Audit with “Clean” Results

Pawhuska, OK – The Osage Nation Health System (ONHS) has achieved a significant milestone, successfully completing its Single Audit on Federal Funding and earning a prestigious “clean audit” — a distinction that is particularly notable during its transition to a separate new Tribal Business Enterprise.

As mandated by the Single Audit Act, any entity receiving more than $750,000 in federal funding annually is required to undergo an independent audit. This comprehensive process assesses not only financial operations but also ensures compliance with non-financial aspects such as program management and oversight. The Single Audit serves to provide assurance to the federal government that the non-federal entity is utilizing federal funds responsibly.
