Osage Nation Health System Announces Leadership Transition as Chief Medical Officer Retires
Pawhuska, OK – The Osage Nation Health System (ONHS) announces the retirement of Dr. Tony Little, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), after three years of dedicated service. Dr. Little has been a valued leader in the Health System, guiding the organization through significant challenges and milestones.
“We sincerely thank Dr. Little for his service and commitment to our Native American patients, their families, and the entire Osage community,” said Mark Rogers, CEO of ONHS. “His contributions have laid a strong foundation for the future, and we wish him the very best in his retirement.”
To ensure continuity of care and leadership, Dr. Melissa McIntosh has been appointed as the Interim CMO. All clinical operations previously overseen by Dr. Little will now transition under Dr. McIntosh’s leadership. Additionally, Mr. Kirk Shaw, Chief Operating Officer, will serve as the on-site administrator, assisting with the transition process.
“Our team remains committed to providing high-quality healthcare and ensuring a seamless transition for our staff and patients,” added Rogers. “We appreciate everyone’s support and patience during this period of change.”
For any questions or further information regarding this transition, staff and patients are encouraged to contact the Osage Nation Health System administration.
